Where Do We Start?
With 3 Simple Steps
1. Discovery Meeting
At H&H Custom Homes, we understand that building a home is no small undertaking. This is your time. Your energy. Your money. If you choose to build with us, we promise to bring our passion, enthusiasm and years of experience. We’ll pair you with the right Project Manager for your build and introduce you to our in-house design team. We’ll be with you every step of the way. If possible, we like to get involved during the plan design stage to add as much value as we can. It’s the H&H way.
During the Discovery meeting, we will introduce you to our team and be there to answer questions, discuss building timelines and go through our base building package. In terms of budget, we’ll start from your comfortable budget and work backwards. This is all done before a commitment is made or contract is signed.
2. Plan Design
Once we’ve aligned your list of must haves, budget, and timeline, we will pair you up with a talented local plan designer. We’ll be involved throughout the process of designing your dream home, offering input while ensuring you’re staying within our budget.
We strive for each one of our projects to have at least 2-3 unique and exceptional design features. Do you have the perfect butler’s pantry design that we can make come to life? Have you always dreamed of having a hidden office or man-cave? Do you want to show off your extraordinary wine room when family or friends come to visit? You’ve come to the right place. At H&H Custom Homes we thrive on getting to know what’s important to you and making that dream become a reality.
3. Building Outline & Contract
Once the construction drawings are complete, we detail all of the building inclusions within the home’s Building Outline and finalize the budget. We spend a lot of time during this phase, confirming that we’ve included and outlined everything you want in your new home. We don’t believe in surprises and aim to keep our clients on budget. The floor plans, budget, and building outline then form the building Contract. Once signed, we’re officially underway!
For items that haven’t been selected or finalized prior to signing the contract, like plumbing fixtures, flooring or cabinetry, we’ll supply you with an ‘allowance’ amount. Our team at H&H will explain what each amount is to include and show you first-hand what you can expect to get for the specified allowance. As mentioned, we are one of the few builders in town who offer fixed-price packages, meaning that we will guarantee the final build cost!

Meet your design team.
Feel free to bring in your own designer, but we have an in-house design team that is included in our base building package. It’s time to show off your photos and open your Pinterest app! We will listen to your vision and talk about different aspects of your inspiration images. Then we’ll do the legwork for you. We’ll source out all of the necessary suppliers and products, while making sure your vision comes together cohesively.
